Providing entrepreneurial education to empower Haitian youth to move from dependence to dignity

Young entrepreneurs shaping Haiti's future
"This work is important. More important than short term work. It is about the mindset of the youth.
Haiti will rise again, and I think it will rise soon.
And this work is contributing to the country's ability to rise." - François Elysée

Meet Some Rising Entrepreneurs!
Y4B is excited to share the story of Cheelove Licius, a student from Ducis, Haiti. Using the skills learned in the Y4B course, Cheelove turned a loan of $.25 (that's right just twenty-five cents) into $90 dollars through her clothing resale business. Incredible! She hopes to one day travel the world to buy and sell clothes.
Isn't it amazing you can change the life of a Haitian student just like Cheelove for less than $5?
Donate $5 or more today to provide the funding for the next great student entrepreneur!
Check out Cheelove’s story below.

Cheelove Licius
Edna attends Lycée Sylvain Salnave and studied with Y4B in 2019. She had a small business selling cookies before attending our business classes. After the class, she started selling sandwiches for greater profit. The program changed her life by giving her more information about how to run a successful small business. Several years ago Edna’s father passed away leaving her mother with the sole responsibility of earning income for the family. Due to the Y4B program, Edna has been able to increase her earnings not only providing for the basic needs of her family but also to pay for her school fees. Take a look at her interview! Edna is a wonderful inspiration to her fellow students. Great job!
Two more inspiring stories! Meet Lovendia and Altema.
